Damage waivers and liability
Liability for damage, and any waiver or coverage that reduces it, is a matter between the Member and the Provider.
Reviewing coverage and exclusions
Waiver and coverage terms, including what is and is not covered, are set by the Provider and disclosed on the listing or in the Provider's own terms. These should be reviewed carefully before submitting a Booking Request, as exclusions and conditions vary by Provider.
Determining fault and damage cost
Providers may rely on photographs, video, inspection forms, mileage records, and incident reports when assessing damage. Members are encouraged to inspect the vehicle thoroughly before and after use and to document any pre-existing damage, as described in Pre-Rental Vehicle Inspection. Failure to report visible issues before use may affect the outcome of a later dispute.
Disputing a damage charge
Superkeys is not a party to disputes between a Member and a Provider about vehicle condition or damage and does not adjudicate such disputes. These should be raised directly with the Provider. Superkeys customer support can help facilitate communication but does not guarantee a particular outcome.
