Insurance for vehicles and services you book through us is arranged entirely by the Provider; we do not set minimum insurance requirements, do not provide insurance, and do not act as an insurer in any capacity.
What to review before booking
Insurance arrangements vary by Provider and by listing. Before you submit a Booking Request, review the following for the specific vehicle:
- Coverage limits and scope
- Exclusions and restrictions
- Deductibles and excess amounts
- Claim procedures
- Whether additional drivers are covered
The Provider discloses this information before your Booking is confirmed. We do not guarantee the availability, adequacy, or validity of any insurance coverage.
Use of personal insurance
You may be covered through a personal auto policy. If you intend outside coverage to apply instead of, or alongside, the Provider's own arrangement, confirm with your insurer in advance that coverage applies to the rental country and vehicle category.
