Vehicle return process
Returning the vehicle correctly and on time supports a swift deposit release.
Returning the vehicle
Bring the vehicle to the agreed location, either the collection point or delivery address, at or before the scheduled end time, and complete the joint return inspection with the Provider. The fuel or charge level should match the agreed fuel policy, after which you receive a return confirmation, either digitally or in person.
Fuel or charge level
The fuel or charge level expected at return is set by the Provider and shown on the listing, as described in Fuel policy. If you return below that level, you may be charged a refueling fee.
Late returns
If you return late without prior arrangement, you may incur a late fee. See Late returns and extensions for details and the process for requesting additional time in advance.
After return
The Provider completes a post-rental inspection. Your security deposit or pre-authorization is released or adjusted once this inspection confirms whether there is new damage, missing items, or unpaid violations, as described in Security deposits. Timing depends on the Provider and the payment processor.
