Choosing self-drive or chauffeur
Many listings let you choose between getting behind the wheel yourself and being driven, with a chauffeured service supplied by the Provider.
How the choice is made
You typically select the self-drive or chauffeured option as part of choosing the vehicle, before submitting a Booking Request. Availability of the chauffeured option, along with its pricing and terms, is set by the Provider offering that vehicle and is shown on the listing.
What a chauffeured service includes
In a chauffeured service, a driver supplied by the Provider operates the vehicle instead of you. Specific inclusions and terms are set by the Provider and are listed alongside the vehicle.
License requirements
A Self-Drive Vehicle requires you to hold a valid, unrestricted driving license acceptable to the Provider. A chauffeured service does not require you to hold a driving license, since you do not operate the vehicle.
Pricing and cancellation
Pricing, minimum booking durations, and cancellation terms for a chauffeured service are set by the relevant Provider and are displayed on the listing before you book. These terms can differ between vehicles and Providers, so review the listing carefully when you want a chauffeured service.
